Microflow Environmental Series Treatment Plant
The Microflow Environmental Series Treatment Plant uses the same technology as Pureflow. However, Microflow is retrofitted to an existing septic tank to upgrade it and turn it into a modern wastewater treatment plant. This is a less expensive option, but still gives you the benefits of protecting your family and the environment of your site as your septic tank will no longer be able to leach raw sewage into the soil.
Microflow is a small scale, low energy domestic treatment plant to serve 7 to 10 people in full-time residence where access to mains drainage is not available. It offers advanced aerobic treatment of domestic and commercial wastewater for on-site discharge to land.
Typical applications include single dwellings such as a rural lifestyle block or farm.
State-of-the Art Biofiltration
The system uses a recirculating packed-bed biofilter. Biofiltration is a pollution control technique using a bioreactor containing living material to capture and biologically degrade waste. The technology is well-known for reliably delivering aerobic advanced secondary treatment of waste water in situations of irregular flows and loads.
Low Energy, Low Maintenance
Microflow systems are installed discretely below ground, and feature ‘no noise’ operation. They are low energy and low maintenance. They are also a completely natural low energy wastewater system, with only one pump to operate the plant. By using alternative passive dosing devices, we can provide a system that will treat your wastewater to an extremely high standard.
Discharged to Land
The high quality of the Microflow treated waste water means that it is suitable for land discharge onsite using a shallow-buried or surface-layered dripperline.
